About Us
Tanoshii Japanese School uses fun and effective techniques so you learn to speak Japanese faster! Smaller classes allow students the time and focus they need to learn and speak Japanese effectively.
The school was established in 2007 by Kaori Strong, a native Japanese speaker and certified Japanese teacher. It provides Japanese lessons in locations in Oakville and Mississauga and online lessons for students everywhere.
Kaori is authorized to teach Japanese by the Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Before coming to Canada in 1998, she taught Japanese to foreign students at Tokyo Language School in Japan for several years.
After coming to Canada, she taught business Japanese at Berlitz then opened Tanoshii Japanese School. Kaori now has over 25 years of experience teaching Japanese to students of all ages.
